The People Behind Tidy Tails

Caslyn Bonzon
Caslyn brings the structure, strategy, and operational backbone that keeps Tidy Tails running smoothly. After grooming in her home-based studio for eight years and laying the foundation for the business, she and Rachel expanded the vision into the full boutique space it is today. She now focuses on guiding the business, shaping the systems, and creating the calm, intentional environment the shop is known for. Her approach balances practicality, emotional awareness, and steady leadership that supports both clients and independent groomers.

Rachel Bonzon
Rachel shapes the experience of Tidy Tails through thoughtful design, warmth, and a deep care for how clients and groomers feel in the space. She focuses on the visual details, the atmosphere, and the overall flow of the studio, creating a space that feels welcoming and grounding for everyone who walks in. Her eye for aesthetics, paired with her calm, people-centered approach, helps maintain the boutique, intentional environment that Tidy Tails is known and appreciated for.

Cyan Barr
Cyan brings a steady, focused presence to every groom. With seven years of experience, she handles dogs with calm confidence and clear, consistent direction. She works comfortably with a wide range of breeds, especially medium and larger dogs who do well with a predictable, low-stress grooming style. Her approach is clean, efficient, and straightforward, helping dogs move through their appointments with ease. Cyan enjoys functional trims and has a soft spot for Aussies and double-coated companions. She splits her time between Victoria and up-island, where her family dogs, Arlo and Lexi, keep her connected to her roots and her love for outdoorsy, easygoing dogs.

Annie Giesbrecht
Annie is a growing groomer with three years of grooming experience and six years of hands-on dog work from her time in Qatar, where she led adventure pack walks and group outings. That background shaped her practical, adaptable way of reading dogs and gives her a warm, approachable presence during grooming. Her style is clean and client-friendly, with an emphasis on tidy, functional grooms and fresh blowouts. Annie works comfortably with both small and large breeds and is a gentle match for dogs who benefit from a softer introduction to grooming. She continues to develop her craft with intention and care Her German Shepherd mix Koda, rescued overseas and by her side for eight years, inspires her relationship-based approach to dog handling.

Leigh McIntosh
Leigh has a couple of decades of grooming experience and brings a reassuring, approachable energy to her work. Her style prioritizes comfort, steady handling, and reading what each dog needs in the moment. She connects naturally with larger, double-coated breeds, especially German Shepherds, and enjoys practical deshedding sessions and tidy maintenance grooms. Leigh communicates warmly with clients and fits seamlessly into the calm, respectful atmosphere at Tidy Tails. At home, she shares her life with her two German Shepherds Diesel and Shelby, who reflect her soft spot for expressive, loyal working dogs.

Inspired by Zoey & Tazha
Caslyn and Rachel’s love for animals and their passion for taking care of them started with their late dogs, Tazha and Zoey.
These dogs inspired the sisters to learn more about animal care, from fear aggression training to agility training, ultimately leading the sisters to start a dog care business that focuses on providing a positive and soothing environment for dogs and their staff.
